If you are concerned with an individual's levels of appropriate social interaction, the caring professionals of The Hab Group offer services and support that are outcome-based, measurable, and consumer-focused. We enhance social skills and functional integration with the greater community by providing social outings, participation with community groups, interpersonal skills counseling, sensory motor development, and job skills support.

We offer outcome-based assistance with Home & Community Hab.

Group Habilitation

Individuals who meet certain skill level criteria can be referred for group hab which involves community integration, increasing socialization skills, opportunity to interact with peers and community vendors.

Respite Services

Caring for a family member with a disability is a 24/7 job--and many of your individuals’ family members really need a break! The Hab Group can provide respite by caring for the individual in the home, maintaining routines and safety, or in small group settings through a temporary respite of 12 hours or less, or a full respite of 24 hours.

Evaluation, Consultation and Training

Behavioral Evaluation & Consultation

The Hab Group provides comprehensive behavioral assessments and ongoing consultation for individuals experiencing challenging behaviors in their home and community. Through individualized planning and a team approach, an experienced master’s level clinician will develop a thorough assessment and positive behavior support plan to fit the needs of the individual.

Assessments

The Hab Group can provide independent, objective assessments in a variety of areas to include psychological, functional skills, environmental, and residential & vocational situational assessments.

Training

The Hab Group represents a wealth of expertise you can utilize through our training and consultation services, including topics required by the Office of Mental Retardation. We can develop a training curriculum that is tailored to your agency's or consumer's needs.
