Barbara A. Conniff, ACSW

Chief Executive Officer

Barbara Conniff currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Milestone Centers, Inc., a private, non-profit community based agency providing a continuum of treatment and support services to individuals with mental illness and developmental disabilities and their families.

Barb is a life long resident of Allegheny County. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Carlow College in Psychology and a Master’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Social Work. Barb is a member of the national Academy of Certified Social Workers. Barb’s 29 year professional career has included a variety of local health care, public health and mental health care positions. Barb is a graduate of the First Class of the collaborative of Allegheny County, United Way and Carnegie Mellon University sponsored Non-Profit Executive Training Program.

Patrica Roberts

Administrative Manager

Patricia (Trish) began working in the field in 1981 with Mon Yough Community Services in the Therapeutic Activity Center as a direct care staff and office administration for 19 years. While still working at the TAC/W center, she began working part time for The Hab Group as a hab associate, assisting with the management process of new referrals, staffing, billing and payroll. In 1999, Trish accepted a position at Human Services of Western Pennsylvania as the Director of the Community Volunteer Service Program, working directly with the county courts and local magistrates with the ARD program. During that time, she continued to work as a hab associate until a full time position became available at The Hab Group in 2000. Wanting to remain in the field, Trish accepted the position of Administrative Manager with The Hab Group.

Peggy Madeya

Director of Quality and Compliance

Peg obtained a BA in Social Work from the Slippery Rock University. She began her career at Auberle then transferred into the MR system at Mon Yough Community Services as a Residential Advisor in 1992. She moved into case management as an ISC for PCGC (currently Family Links) in 1996 and one year later to Mon Valley Supports Coordination. During the 8 years at Mon Valley, Peg was promoted from Waiver ISC to Waiver Program Supervisor to Co-Director. Also, during that time, she was employed part time with Allegheny County Department of Human Services MR/DD as a QMRP. In 2005, she left MVSC and came aboard with “The Habilitative Group” as the Director of Quality and Compliance.

Marianne Roberts

Administrative Assistant

Marianne was a graduate of Clairton High School, majoring in business and the Steel Center Vo-Tech School studying graphic communications. She graduated from Douglas School of Business in Monessen in 1994 with an Associates Degree in Executive Secretarial. Marianne pursued employment in the business field working with General American Credits with title searches and property deeds. In 2000 she was hired with Dick Corporation, working as an assistant to the Project Manager during the building of PNC Park. She continued with Dick Corporation, working on different construction projects in Ohio and West Virginia, while working part time as a Hab Associate with The Hab Group. In 2005, Marianne began working in the Hab offices as a bookkeeper and  currently completes the billing services as the Administrative Assistant.
